In the fall of 2021 I traveled thousands of miles on the backroads of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast to connect with orchardists, cidermakers, researchers and friends during peak harvest. The trip served as a reminder of the passion, curiosity, and special community that exists in the fine food and beverage universe.
