Select images from a project called "351 Miles". This project evolved over the first 100 days of San Francisco’s shelter-in-place orders issued March 2020 in response the COVID-19 pandemic. By the time I ended the project on Day 100 of the quarantine I’d walked over 351 miles in the City of San Francisco and had captured approximately 12,000 images. 351 miles is many things but above all it is a lesson in humanity. The virus forced many of us to simplify our cluttered, busy lives. It provided the time and space for us to contemplate what it means to be better humans and rethink our individual ‘default’ settings. (Press: SFGATE)
